Job Description

Business Development Associate:

Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within assigned area. (This is a must)

Nurturing and developing relationships with key customer accounts

Attending face-to-face meetings with clients

Providing specialist advice on the products and/or services you’re selling

Draft proposals and contracts; create presentations

Ability to close deals and secure contracts

Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors

Strong written and verbal skills with emphasis on excellent grammar/punctuation

Experience in strategic planning and execution of business & marketing objectives

Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and work independently

Exceptional organizational skills, great multi-tasker

Skills and requirements

  • BA or BS degree
  • 3-5 years proven track record in business sales or related market
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
  • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner
